Forum for EBU's Final Strategy Proposal

The EBU's Final Strategic Proposal is primarily that in future, duplicate players in EBU-affiliated clubs must be members of the EBU and contribute to the national organisation by way of the 'Pay to Play' scheme.  As this affects a substantial number of Non-EBU members playing in clubs, the HIWCBA Executive Committee is organising a ballot (of clubs) in order to gauge as accurately as possible the effect of this change.
Several members have very strong views that if this policy is adopted, it will be a disaster for Bridge in this county. Much of the correspondence has been made available for you to read, as this may help you to decide whether your club should support the proposal or not. The vote is in May.

I will be pleased to post any further views.       mikerogerson@ntlworld.com
